Flappy Bird – Review

The game that has got people hyped up so much, Flappy Bird,

The game is overly addictive and is an anger buster, but the fun and enjoyment that comes from playing this game is unrivaled with other games such as Candy Crush or even Angry Birds.  I myself have managed to reach a score of 162 and count myself lucky to this marvellous and addictive game.

The most astonishing factor in this games success, is that it hasn’t been launched by a major game maker such as EA or King, but .GEARS studio, which mostly none of us knew until the hype of Flappy Bird came up. The game has received wide acclaim and even reached the Number 1 spot on the Apple Store, which is usually dominated by other famous applications.

But why did he take it down?
The answer to that lies in its purpose. The game wasn’t meant to be an addiction, but more of a relaxation says the creator,Dong Nguyen , who has made many other games as well such as Super Ball Juggling and Shuriken Block which too are in the top 20’s on the Apple App Store. It was meant to be played for maybe a minute or two in order to help reduce stress or provide entertainment for a person, but not an addiction.

Final Verdict:
An overall good game with its 8-bit graphics and Mario styled pipes, just hope that it comes back. For teenagers and kids, it’s an awesome game, but for adults or senior citizens, this game may cause many of a tantrum in their house, due to its complexity and level of difficulty.
