Recently, Microsoft has announced that their flagship browser , Internet Explorer had a serious vulnerability in which a user could gain unauthorised access into a PC  and steal confidential information or overlook what you’re doing currently.

Microsoft has published a post on their security website as well stating that this was a major vulnerability and comes as Windows XP loses extended support and is now a stand-alone OS with no updates from Microsoft.

Adding to that, they have stated that the threat would only come up if a user had clicked on a site made by the attacker which could either be including in spam messages or on sites made by them to lure you into believing them.

How to Overcome this issue:

1. Use a different browser.

There are so many other browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox which have not been affected by this security breach.

2. Applying a Workaround

Microsoft has provided a way of protecting yourself from these attacks in their security site.

If you are running any version of Microsoft’s server systems, then you are currently safe from this vulnerability and would not be affected due to a security feature  in the system already present.
